“To be ourselves causes us to be exiled by many others, and yet to comply with what others want causes us to be exiled from ourselves.” -Clarissa Pinkola Estés

Hello and welcome! I’m Coach Charlotte. I'm an ADHD parent, partner, creative, community builder, and coach - specializing in supporting ADHD and AuDHD adults. With my years of coaching and first-hand knowledge of ADHD I strive to help you maneuver your way through the unique challenges faced and daily stress of living in a world often built without you in mind.

It’s important to recognize both that our histories and paths forward with ADHD can be quite different and that there can be striking similarities as well. I take a holistic approach, addressing not just the symptoms, but also helping you to move through harmful narratives that you’ve likely absorbed over time and on to a place of radical acceptance. Through a combination of mindfulness techniques, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and tailored goal-setting, I empower adults with ADHD to thrive in their personal and professional lives. With this guidance and support, clients develop deeper self-awareness and self-advocacy and gain a clear understanding of their strengths and where their individual challenges lie. You learn effective strategies for things like time management, organization, procrastination, emotional dysregulation, and remaining resilient in the face of setbacks.

I bring years of coaching, study of evidence-based practices, mindfulness training, advocating for my own neurodiverse family, lived experience as an adult with ADHD and a lot of levity together to support you. As a coach, I value establishing a collaborative, strengths-based relationship with you as you create structures in your life to assist you in reaching goals and provide a way forward when you feel stuck.

Let me partner with you in friendly, judgement-free coaching so you can achieve greater well-being and find more happiness and ease in your life!

    ADHD Coaching For Adults

There is no such thing as one-size-fits all - especially when it comes to ADHD. We are nuanced individuals with unique obstacles. Rather than a pre-designed program I prefer to work collaboratively with each of my clients to co-create the kind of support you might need and allow it to grow and change as you do. I bring a framework of coaching competencies, skills, and years of ADHD coaching experience to our partnership to help you discover what will work best for your lifestyle, current circumstances or challenges, and ultimate goals.

    Mindfulness for ADHD

Mindfulness practices are powerful tools for everyone. They increase our self-awareness, decrease anxiety and stress, improve disruptive sleep patterns, and help us connect to our senses and physical bodies. Meditation, progressive relaxation, and deep breathing exercises can also increase dopamine and help with impulse control, which are extremely helpful for folks with ADHD. When big emotions arise, as Jon Kabat-Zinn says, “You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.” Morningtide Wellness offers guided group and individual meditations and other mindful practices for ADHDers.

My Coaching Method

We’ll start by exploring where you’re at right now. We might discuss your daily life, stressors, relationships, work, emotions, and general challenges to get a big picture, holistic view of all the elements that may be affecting your well-being and contributing to overwhelm or burnout. My approach is person-centered, meaning you’re placed at the center of service, truly valued and listened to and at the heart of making decisions that are right for your life.

Discovery

Next we’ll take the time to get clear on your values and what feels most important to you regarding your goals. It’s vital to get clear on your priorities and what makes you feel your best. Your wellness vision will be an inspiration along the way to remind you of who you are at your core and what loving, empowered behaviors you want to realize for yourself. In this stage of our work together we will be focusing on affirming your strengths and identifying your inherent resources.

Illumination

You’re clear on the goals you want to reach, the structures your’re building for support, you’re taking actionable steps to get there, and you’re increasing your self-advocacy. This is where you’ll utilize those strengths and resources, start building on them and incorporating them intentionally in order to strategize around obstacles and remain resilient in the face of setbacks. There are many possibilities for what this may look like, it may shift over time, and will depend on what area of your life you’re focusing on.

Integration

At this stage you’ve done some amazing work! You’ve dedicated yourself to any changes you would like to make in how you maintain equilibrium in your life, you’re not afraid to advocate for your own needs, you’re treating your body, mind and emotions with kindness, and you’ve achieved your goals. You’re maintaining the sustainable habits that support you and your overall health long-term. You have the tools and skills to maintain your wellbeing even when life throws you a curve.
